June 2000 - Myself and a group of friends decided to start designing an adventure game. However, the engine for the game is found to be unworkable and the idea is dropped. September-October 2000 - I reconsidered the idea of a game engine, but it is again dropped. At this point the idea of the G-Wiz structure occured to me. April - June 2000 - For the third time I designed the engine, and for the third time it failed. I now realised that I had nothing to lose by considering the G-Wiz engine. I drew up some preliminary designs, and discovered that it could be implemented relatively easily.
